Frankfurt ecumenical church choir
The Frankfurt ecumenical Church Choir has about 71 members, and this includes people that are not belonging to any faith. The choir was founded by amalgamating several parish choirs of the town. The choir’s repertoire includes all major symphonic choir works and its main performances are at church services, the town’s old people’s homes and hospices. Stefan Hardt is the musical director since 2003.


Frankfurt children and youth church choir
The choir which is about 50 people strong perform at church services, as well a parish festivities and private functions. They regularly support the Oekomenische Kantorei performing the large oratorios. They also undertake annual concert tours through Germany and Europe. The latest press critiques praise the choir for its musical interpretation, its style confidence, its homogeneity and its intonation.


Orchestra of Frankfurt’s Friends of Music

Theatre of Laughter
The »Theater des Lachens Puppen- und Schauspiel e.V« emerged from the »Staatlichen Puppentheater« (State Puppet Theatre) in Frankfurt (Oder). The society was founded in 1992, and with financial backing by the Frankfurt town and Brandenburg County the theatre is the basis for keeping the tradition of a puppet theatre in Frankfurt (Oder). 1996 the society moved to its new location, a former furniture factory in the Ziegelstraße. What you cannot tell from the outside of the building: it is home to one of the nicest theatres in Brandenburg. The ensemble performs stories that encourage love and respect for life, tell stories about appreciation and courage, which try and leave a sense of confidence in the future.


Cabaret „Die Oderhähne“

Kleines Kino
The name stands for a small society, which since 1993 is dedicated to showing artistically valuable films, which will not be shown in the larger cinemas. The programme is extremely varied and has a regional emphasis on films of Eastern Europe. Usually the films are screened in the Auditorium Maximum of the Europa Universität.


Museum Viadrina
The museum Viadrina is the cultural historic museum for town and region Frankfurt (Oder). Its

The Museum of Young Art Frankfurt (Oder) houses one of the most substantial art collections of East Germany.
